CAPE Health Plan
CAPE Health Plan was founded in 1983 as a new way to bring services to Medicaid enrollees. Based on the HMO model of primary care physicians, the company has grown to provide care to over 85,000 patients in southeastern Michigan. It became a fully licensed HMO in 1998. Still headed by original founder Susan Sarin, CAPE is still committed to quality health care and the highest standards. As in other HMOs, there is an emphasis on staying healthy and on educating the patient to make healthy choices.
