Grand Valley Health Plan
Grand Valley Health Plan is a regional pre-paid for-profit health care plan set up for Federal Employees and others who are uninsured and would like a pre-paid discount medical service in a safe place. The region covered is the area of most of Kent County, eastern Ottawa County, northern Allegan County, and western Ionia County of Michigan. The Great Valley Health Plan has six regional health centers that must be used. While this managed care plan is primarily for those who live in the area, those who work in the area may also be eligible.
Grand Valley Health Plan Insurance Products
The Grand Valley Health Plan is a pre-paid managed healthcare plan. Services offered to federal Employees are on the traditional HMO model. Therefore, you must choose a primary care physician from the provider list and rely on that individual's decisions for your care. In the Grand Valley Health Plan, most care is received at the Health Center. Each center is staffed with a full range of medical practitioners, who will see to most of your medical needs. The health center practitioner will refer you to any specialists that may be necessary. Other benefits follow:
