M-CARE
M-Care was founded in 1986 as a non-profit 501C organization to serve the population of the University of Michigan. Today, M-Care is owned by the Blue Care Network and provides managed health care to over 200,000 members throughout southeastern Michigan. M-Care also provides health insurance products to 1,500 employer groups. The provider has a strong focus on preventive medicine, and is known nationally for its customer service. Individuals, including Medicare recipients, and employer groups from two to an unlimited number of employees can chose among their many healthcare options. M-Care plans include HMOs, PPOs, an HSA, and M-CAID, among others. Plans are flexible and have a variety of deductibles and co-pays.
