Total Health Care is a provider of health insurance for Michigan employers and their employees, for individuals, and for government health care recipients of Medicaid and MIChild. Eligibility determination is available online for the various Total Health Care plans. Employee benefits plans for businesses are separated into those for groups with two to 50 employees and those for groups with 50 and more employees. There are multiple plans to choose from. Plans are flexible and can be designed to fit the needs of the individual business group. Medicaid, Medicare, and MIChild benefits are standard.

- Doctor visits, including both primary care physician and specialists
- Well-checks
- Services by certified pediatricians and family nurse practitioners

- Immunizations, as well as shots to protect against certain illnesses
- Inpatient and out-patient hospital services
- Emergency services, including ambulance services when medically necessary
- Hospice care
- Vision services
- Hearing aid services and products
- Mental health care up to 20 visits a year
- Speech, physical, and occupational therapy
- Family planning services, parenting, and birthing classes, maternity care
- Transportation to medical services
- Care when you are out of town
- Home health care services (up to 100 visits a year).
